just acquired a 1973 ericson 25 i live down here in newport news virginia.ive been trying to get information of the exact dimensions of the main sail and jib althought as far as i know the jib that came with the boat is original but it has rip on the leech side about a foot and a half were the the thread has come apart. is this salvageable? or do i have to look for a new jib .another question is the main is not the original even though the foot looks like its the right length but the luft looks like a foot short from the boom marker to the top of the mast.also i brought all the sails home for closer look and i noticed that i have a working jib and a storm jib and they look identical can you enlighten me on the difference of the two?
